Today like an extreme iPhone lover I saw the clock said 3 A.M. at Miami so I said “Yes its tuesday iTunes refreshes the App Ads on the App Store” When I saw ITS THE APP STORE’S BIRTHDAY!!!” Yes one year ago the App store launched and has grown to have 50.000+ Apps (number updated on June 8, 2009). Lets sing happy birthday and go crazy buying apps for the iPhone!!!

PEOPLE I KNOW YOUR DESPERATE FOR MONEY BUT COME ON!!!
I found an App for the iPhone that costs $999.99 and is 0.1MB. I Am Rich is an App that show a red ruby. The company states that buying this is only to demonstrate that you can afford such luxury. What I think is who will be stupid enough to buy this app that only shows a …. photo of a ruby and has no other functions. Here are some screenshots.
.mac is getting a face lift as we speak. We will have a mobile me review as soon as possible.
Telefonica just announced that they will also sale the iPhone in Colombia besides Comcel. iLounge has a map with the list of countries and carriers that will offer the iPhone.
Yesterday at the WWDC Steve Jobs announced the new 3G iPhone. For some people who were waiting for it has become good news but for some it has become a problem.
Good News:
- Faster Data transfer
- Half the price
- GPS
- Different Colors
- Better Battery life
Bad News:
- In-Store Activation (not as 1st generation Phone that could be activated via iTunes)
- People can’t escape the AT&T Contract (people expecting to buy the new iPhone and unlock them will have to activate it legally with AT&T or will not have the pleasure of having one)
Apple’s Point of View
Apple wants to sell by the end of the year 10 million iPhones and, what is the best way to do that guys?
To lower the price(Subsidized), sell it in 70 countries around the world. They are selling it all around the world because they are sick and tiered of iPhones that are being unlocked, so the solution is sell it where people will want to buy it and that way people don’t have to buy them on the US and look for a way to unlock it.
We saw this in-store activation coming because before we could buy the iPhone and do what ever we wanted, but At&T got tiered of loosing in this deal. So just wait until the iPhone is launched in your country because they won’t sell PrePaid Plans for the iPhones.
Finally Apple announces 3G iPhone on sale July 11th.

We have been asking us the same question in our heads about unlocking the new firmware 2.0 to debut on monday June 9th and the 3G iPhone. The answer is yes I think it may be unlocked but this are the facts: - The beta Firmwares 2.0 that have leaked, have been unlocked by the community.  So lets encourage them by donating and help them in all we can. My advice, I have unlocked a lot of iPhones and I always wait about 24 hours before using the unlock programs to give them time to try them, because always people make them rush and launch the software with out fully trying it.
